Special guests to be announced.

2015 marks ten years since the formation of Chicago-based LOCRIAN, who over the past decade has left a smoldering mass of well over twenty recordings in their wake, many of them self-released, many others through labels including Diophantine Discs, Bloodlust!, Plague Journal, Small Doses, At War With False Noise, Land of Decay, Pilgrim Talk and others before signing with Relapse Records in 2012 for the release of their The Clearing LP. The band’s experimental/avant approach unifies post-industrial and black metal persuasions in a crushing alloy of organic and mechanical elements, having earned them widespread media praise from countless underground and mainstream media outlets and journalist worldwide.

Channelling influences such as My Bloody Valentine, Fugazi, The Cure, The Smiths and The Velvet Underground into their own unique sonic fingerprint, Ringo Deathstarr have worked tirelessly to create an homage to the artists they love while still maintaining their own distinct identity creatively.

"The band sounds like it leaped screaming out of My Bloody Valentine's blown amps" - WIRED

"There is a direct line between My Bloody Valentine, the Jesus and Mary Chain and Ringo Deathstarr. And it stops at Slowdive Central. If you retain any fondness for those three – and are mentally aroused by a spot of melody-heavy guitar pop – you will adore the 'Starr" - THE GUARDIAN UK

Rounding out the bill are Detroit Indie-Rock outfit George Morris & The Gypsy Chorus and Betty Cooper, playing their first show in 2 years.

Wednesday, August 26th - Small's and Darque Productions, LLC. present:
Haujobb and Alter Der Ruine wsg Ghost Synthesis

8 p.m. doors, 18+

$13 in advance (plus $1 service fee), $16 day of show

.::HAUJOBB::.

Haujobb is a German musical project whose output has ranged drastically within the electronic music spectrum, from electro-industrial to IDM and techno. They have become a staple crossover act, bringing several forms of electro into the mainstream industrial music world.

Haujobb was formed in 1993 by Daniel Myer, Dejan Samardzic, and Björn Junemann, pulling the name from the Blade Runner translation of "skin job".

Daniel Myer most recently graced the states as one of his many side projects, Architect, in support of the Seabound 'Speak In Storms' tour.

.::ALTER DER RUINE::.

Gears keep on turning. From a (power)noisy start through a thrashing, sweat-soaked animal to fevered toe tappers, this less-than well-oiled machine rocks on unsteady legs, and they wouldn't have it any other way. The outfit's sound isn't always the easiest to pin down. A groovy synthpop jam is just at home next to a wall of pulsing, distorted percussion. That's their bag. Alter der Ruine don't settle down and they don't make things easy.

.:: GHOST SYNTHESIS::.

Ghost Synthesis is Detroit Composer/Producer
Jeff Rebrovich

Whether it's ominous sound design, contradictory, soul infused choir rants, atop a cinematic back alley landscape, or classically influenced arrangements. Ghost Synthesis is a little bit of what you may know, and a whole lot more of what you may not expect. All glued together with the basic formula of…..It's gotta get your attention, it's gotta keep your attention, and it has to have a groove.
